As we were getting ready to leave for the parade, Rachel was having difficulty finding an outfit to wear. Something about Rachel was very welcoming and it also helped that she was pretty to look at. I knew I liked this girl the minute I met her. I bonded especially well with one of the owners of the house named Rachel. The plan for that day was to meet up for a barbecue and beer pong tournament at my teammate’s friend’s house, and then head downtown to the parade and continue enjoying the night’s festivities at Rain, an Austin gay bar.Īfter a few Jim Bean and waters, I made friends with almost every lesbian in attendance. For one reason or another, I’ve always played well with them so attending a festival with a dozen lesbians sounded absolutely fabulous. If there’s one thing I love more than drag queens, it’s lesbians. Earlier this semester, a teammate invited me to attend Austin’s Pride festival with her and a group of lesbian friends.
